Coinbase Pro Login — Secure Access Guide

Information about logging in safely, the Pro → Advanced Trade transition, and a compact security checklist.

Quick summary

Coinbase Pro has been consolidated into Coinbase’s Advanced Trade interface. If you previously used Coinbase Pro, your account and balances remain intact — login is performed through coinbase.com. Use the official login page only and enable 2-Factor Authentication for every account.

Go to Coinbase Login

Step-by-step: Secure login (recommended)

  1. Open a fresh browser window (or private/incognito mode) to avoid cached redirects.
  2. Type https://www.coinbase.com/login directly in the address bar — don't click random links.
  3. Confirm the domain is coinbase.com and the page has a valid TLS lock (HTTPS).
  4. Enter your email and password. If asked, complete any CAPTCHA or email verification step.
  5. Complete 2-Factor Authentication (TOTP app or hardware key recommended).
  6. Once logged in, access Advanced Trade from the Coinbase menu to reach the trading interface formerly called “Pro.”
If you are migrated from a legacy Coinbase Pro account, your order history and balances should be available under Advanced Trade. Always confirm account details after login.

Troubleshooting common login issues

Forgot password:

Use the official “Forgot password” flow on coinbase.com/login and follow email instructions. Avoid password reset links from third parties.

2FA lost or unlinked:

If you lose your authenticator device, use backup recovery codes or contact Coinbase support through the authenticated support portal. Expect identity verification steps.

Suspicious email or phishing:

Do not click links. Forward suspected phishing emails to phish@coinbase.com and delete them. Always reach the site by typing the URL yourself.
